Stoked High School

Stoked offers many activities, trips, camps and weekly classes for students. The high school years go by quickly, and we want to give students lasting memories and friendships to lean on. We encourage students to take part in leadership opportunities and areas of service at New Life.

Our mission for the high school students of New Life is to Assemble, gather together for worship, messages, activities and fun; Kindle, prayerfully seek the Lord and His purpose for our lives; and Unleash, step out in faith in all circumstances and let our hearts be on fire for serving Jesus.

If I say, "I will not remember Him or speak His name anymore," then my heart becomes a burning fire shut up in my bones. And I am weary of enduring and holding it in; I cannot endure it nor contain it any longer. Jeremiah 20:9

Weekly Classes

Sunday Mornings | 11am

Location: New Life Community Church room 101 (The Pit)

Wednesday Nights | 7pm (while trimester Growth Groups are in session)

Location: New Life Community Church Chapel

Sunday mornings start out upstairs in the Sanctuary for worship and then we are dismissed to our classroom afterwards. Our devotional class covers Bible lessons that coincide with our current theme and offer a great time for us to prepare for the week ahead.

Wednesday nights are full of fun, worship, a message, games, activities and so much energy. We encourage all high school students to attend and bring their friends as they experience a healthy environment full of fun. We offer prayer and altar time for students meeting Jesus for the first time as well as students needing support from leaders on personal situations.

Ministry Leader

Pastor Shayne Tucker officially joined the New Life staff as the high school pastor in 2021. Shayne is the son of our senior pastors, Mark and Cathy Tucker, and has grown up at New Life. He is excited for what Stoked has already brought to the students of our church and community. God has been doing mighty works with the students, and Shayne is grateful to have a front row seat as they grow in relationship with Jesus.

He has built a leadership team that is devoted to any student who walks through the doors of New Life on a Sunday morning or Wednesday night. They plan exciting events and activities to encourage students to stay engaged in church and to build lasting friendships. Shayne and his team are passionate about spreading the Gospel message to the youth of our community in a way that ignites and stokes lifelong relationship with Christ.
