Ignited junior high
This ministry is for students sixth through eighth grade. We strive to help students become more closely connected to Christ, friends and the church. Weekly classes and regularly planned activities keep students excited about what is coming up next. The leadership team chooses curriculum and a teaching plan with our students needs in mind. We want to keep them engaged in and reliant on God's Word.

Sunday Mornings | 11am
Wednesday Nights | 7pm (while trimester Growth Groups are in session)
Location: New Life Community Church room 106
Our Sunday mornings are set to engage students in the Bible. We start our morning in the Sanctuary for worship and then move downstairs to our classroom afterwards. Our goal is to help them understand what God is saying to them and to the world around them. We challenge them to hold their lives up to the light of Christ.
On Wednesday nights we have our Ignited service with worship, a message, altar calls and games. The Ignited team strives to help our students apply Christ to their daily lives. We give them the opportunity to spend valuable time with God in worship and prayer.
Ministry Leader
Pastor Johnny Deary is the pastor that leads our Ignited students. He is new to our pastoral staff team, but has been serving at New Life for many years now, and we cannot wait to see how God uses Johnny to reach the students.
The Ignited leadership team is full of strong leaders including Cheyenne Deary, Aaron and Elyssa Floyd, Susana Reis and Brett Martin. They bring high-energy, structure and a safe place for our students to learn and grow spiritually in.
