  • Lance Hahn

Pastor Lance Hahn has been the senior pastor of Bridgeway Christian Church since 1997. A gifted Bible teacher, Lance is known for his ability to communicate God’s truth with accuracy and humor. His role at Bridgeway blends his two greatest passions: God and people. He loves seeing the transformation that happens when God gets a hold of a person’s life.

While Lance’s primary vocation is leading Bridgeway, God has also allowed Lance to serve Him in several other ways. His sermons are heard daily on KFIA radio, he has spoken at numerous conferences, written several magazine articles, and has published two books, How to Live in Fear: Mastering the Art of Freaking Out and The Master’s Mind: The Art of Reshaping Your Thoughts. Lance also serves on the board of City Pastors Fellowship, and is passionate about uniting churches in the Sacramento region.

Lance has been married to Suzi since 1995, and they have two daughters, Jillian and Andie, and one pooch, Bella. He holds a B.A. from Sacramento State University and a Master of Divinity degree from Western Seminary. When he’s not at church Lance is an avid collector (sports cards, comic books, vinyl records, and other things), a major movie buff, and a big fan of the beach.

  • Caleb Cole

Caleb, a Sacramento native, grew up in a pastor’s home and is a third generation minister. At the age of 12, after one of his grandfather’s sermons, he felt a call from God to be a pastor. He consistently pursued that call throughout high school and college. Caleb attended Central Bible College in Springfield, MO where he earned a B.A. in Biblical Studies and went on to the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary where he earned an M.A. in Theological Studies.

  • Timothy Russell

Tim Russell serves as Associate Supervisor with the primary responsibility of the target of more and growing leaders together on mission and works in collaboration, partnership and support of the supervisor.

With more than 30 years in ministry, Tim Russell most recently served as lead pastor of New Hope Christian Fellowship (Hayward Foursquare Church) in Hayward, Calif., for five years. Tim is passionate about helping individuals find and walk in their designed purpose, which led him to serve as program director for Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center, a small business incubator in California. Tim is the author of Conquer or Be Conquered and is working on a book titled Rising From the Ruins. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Charles Mason Bible College. Tim and his wife, Vanessa, have seven children, five who are grown and two teenagers at home.

  • Vanessa Russell

Vanessa Russell has developed children in dance, teaching hundreds, ages 3-25, lyrical, flags, hip hop, and mime since 2000. In 2010, one of her 14-year-old dance students was sold into human trafficking. Although she was eventually located and is now being restored, Vanessa encountered many others who, like her student, were US-born women, men, and children trapped in modern-day slavery.

Her response was to launch Love Never Fails, a nonprofit dedicated to restoring, educating, and protecting those involved or at risk of becoming involved in domestic human trafficking. Love Never Fails has educated thousands of children and community members on the issue of human trafficking, opened seven homes that provide long-term safe housing and restorative services for over 300+ women, men, youth, and children impacted by human trafficking and launched an IT Academy connecting under-served community members with financially sustainable careers. Vanessa believes that the issue of human trafficking can be solved through love expressed in prayer, safe housing, mentoring, job training, outreach, and education.

Vanessa also worked for 23 years in leading technology and sales organizations in the IT industry. She retired from Cisco Systems in January 2019 to lead Love Never Fails full-time. Her professional hope is to inspire and motivate people to develop businesses and themselves. She and her husband, Pastor Timothy Russell, are blessed to have seven children and five grandchildren.

Vanessa graduated from the University of San Francisco with a B.S. in Information Systems Management and is currently enrolled at the California Southern University pursuing a Master's/Doctorate in Psychology. She is a sought-out keynote speaker, a Professor of Computer Science and Information Systems for Peralta Colleges, a Vistage Worldwide Professional Speaker, a Pastor with the International Foursquare Gospel (ICFG), where she co-leads the national Anti-Trafficking Causes Network, and published author of the Fight For Love workbook. Vanessa sits on the Contra Costa County Family Justice Center Board (Board of Directors – Family Justice Center (cocofamilyjustice.org) ), East Bay Interagency Council, and Thrivent Financial Pacific Sierra Board (About Thrivent Financial | Thrivent Member Network). She chairs Oakland's Violence Prevention Coalition (oaklandvpc.org)
