  • Meal Train Team

    If you are requesting a meal train for yourself or a loved one, please click the image. 
    The meal train ministry is intended to be a blessing to any New Life family member who may need a little extra help after     a life-changing event. Having a team of individuals provide a meal three times a week for up to two weeks can really take the stress off of a family. Whether they just brought home a new baby, returned home from a hospital stay, recovering from an illness or injury, or grieving the loss of a family member or other significant event, offering the blessing of a meal can be helpful. "Whenever you did it for any of my people, no matter how unimportant they seemed, you did it for me." Matthew 25:40 CEV

    Click the image to be taken to our online prayer request form. Our prayer team is set up to be focused on specific prayer needs for individuals and families within New Life. The team is comprised of intercessors, or people who are called to stand in the gap and intervene on behalf of others by way of prayer. They are spiritually strong and seasoned in their faith. These team members uphold confidentiality, are compassionate and led by the Holy Spirit. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people. Ephesians 6:18 NIV

    If you have recently experienced a traumatic incident, chaplains are available for many spiritual needs.  We are excited to have a team of individuals who are dedicated to support and encourage as you walk through this difficult time. Please let us know if you would like chaplain team members to come alongside you, a family member, or a close friend or relative in this time of need. We understand how overwhelming and sensitive timing is for these things, and we want to come alongside you to help and encourage you through the process. 

  • Prayers and Squares-hANDMADE qUILTS

    Prayers & Squares is an interfaith outreach organization that combines the gift of prayer with the gift of a hand-tied quilt. The purpose of Prayers & Squares is to promote prayer through the use of quilts. We are proud to have a Chapter here at New Life Community Church.

NLCC chaplaincy Ministry

NLCC Chaplaincy Ministry is made up of men and women in our church body, for the purpose of bringing a compassionate presence of Christ guided by the Holy Spirit to those in need, both within and outside our church body.  Our chaplains provide spiritual care, emotional support and crisis response for anyone in need of comfort and prayer instilling hope, encouragement, and compassion in times of crisis.


CHAPLAIN ACADEMIES

Have you been called to church chaplaincy? New Life offers a two church chaplain academies where you can receive training and learn how to respond to the needs of church members when crisis hits. Compassion Care Ministry requires these trainings to join Church Chaplaincy. Please see the information below about these courses.


Church Chaplain Academy 1: Sharing Hope in Crisis

This chaplaincy course, created by Billy Graham, will equip you to engage in conversation and share the hope of Jesus Christ with those suffering from everyday tragedies of life. This course will start in May and costs $27 per person.


Church Chaplaincy Academy 2

Our next available Church Chaplain Academy will start in April. Cost is $90 per person.

Ministry Leader

Pastor Dan Smith and his wife Debbie served as missionaries for 12 years before joining the New Life staff in 2021. Pastor Dan has a heart to serve and cares deeply for the families of New Life. He strives to provide a ministry for individuals and families to lean on in times of need. 

Pastor Dan has an excellent leadership team that are trained in many areas of service. This team consists of Dennis and Kristi Baker, Isaac Rosa, Deb Bauguess, Linda Ellis, Debbie Smith and Donna O'Neill.
