Lisa Thompson is a pastor, Bible teacher, conference speaker, and author who is passionate about helping people move from simply knowing about God to truly following Him. For more than 25 years, she has invested her life in discipleship and spiritual formation, encouraging people to anchor their lives in Scripture, be transformed by the gospel, and grow into mature followers of Christ as they invest their lives in God’s Kingdom.

Since 2002, Lisa has helped launch and multiply neighborhood Bible studies by building authentic communities where women learn to study God’s Word deeply and apply it to everyday life. She is the author of the Faith Journey Bible study series, designed to help women read, understand, and live out Scripture with confidence.

Currently, Lisa is the Women’s and Adult Discipleship Pastor at Bayside Granite Bay, the main campus of a multi-site church in Northern California. Lisa brings theological depth, pastoral warmth, and practical application to her teaching. She is passionate about connecting people to the local church and equipping believers to be the Church in their communities as they live the Gospel out.

Lisa and her husband, Robb, have been married since 1992 and have four grown children. They live in Folsom, California.
