Small Groups

At New Life, we believe that a healthy church happens when people intentionally grow in their relationship with God and others!

We make small groups available so people can make the kind of close connections that might not otherwise occur in a large church setting. Our small groups come in various forms. Read on for more information or please call the office at 536-5433.

  • Growth groups are small groups that gather at the church and focus on a specific topic. They last 10 to 14 weeks, three times a year (based on trimesters), and are typically offered on Wednesdays and Sundays.
  • Home groups gather outside the church at various times and days of the week with the idea of doing life together. Discussions are generally centered around the Sunday morning sermon to purposefully help you apply what you are learning to real life. They can also revolve around common interests, such as hiking or quilting. Some groups are ongoing, while others meet at different times of the year.
  • The Pulse is where to start if you are unsure about joining a small group. This four-week gathering, led by Pastor Mark, will give you a good idea of what it's like to be part of a group. We typically offer Pulse classes at the beginning of each trimester.

Home Groups

Get involved in a home group to coincide with our  Message series. Groups will cover additional material on the back of our weekly bulletin as a supplement to the Sunday morning message.

For more information on joining a home group or hosting your own, email Pastor Suz at

The Pulse

New to New Life? Want to get more involved? The Pulse is a four-week small group led by Pastor Mark Tucker that will introduce you to our vision and values. You will meet other staff members and leaders, and receive info about the history, mission and purpose of New Life Community Church. You will have the opportunity to find out about various ways to serve, as well as apply for church membership if you desire. At New Life, we believe  if you have a pulse, you have a purpose!
